Also in 2024, SFB/TRR219 under lead of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Marx organized the “Aachen Conference on Cardiorenal Disease and Diabetes”. At the meeting, various aspects in the field were presented including atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, as well as risk factors such as diabetes and inflammation. In addition to international experts in the field, the meeting also included a special SFB/TRR219 session with updates from our own consortium, as well as a poster session supporting ongoing cooperations and networking. On the last day, the meeting integrated a clinical education
session to discuss implementations in daily clinical practice.
