Türen auf mit der Maus: SFB/TRR219 joins in!

On October 3rd, SFB/TRR 219 welcomed young future scientists and doctors to our lab at the University Hospital in Aachen. Children as young as 8 visited us to see firsthand how clinicians and researchers study diseases.

Inspired by the 2025 motto, "Play Time," the kids got hands-on experience in our lab. They used microscopes to identify organs on slides, practiced pipetting, and ran their first experiments to see how different solutions affect pH levels. We mixed in plenty of quizzes and riddles, making the day enjoyable for everyone. We are already excited for next year!
